From time to time, the government of India launches apps for citizens to promote its Digital India initiative. Recently, the mPassport Seva app was updated and now through the app people can apply for a passport from anywhere. The Election Commission, on the other hand, also launched an app called cVigil, through which individuals can send videos and photos of illegal activities or hate speech being made during polls.
